Meet the Team

Cortney was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Sarasota in 2006. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years. Cortney’s true passion is helping patients that feel anxiety or fear. No matter how high the anxiety may be, Cortney will do her best to make you feel right at home here at Dr. Konecny’s office. She is a highly trained certified dental assistant. She stays current with continuing dental education classes - a commitment she takes seriously to help patients maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, exercising, and eating healthy!

With 13 years of experience as a dental hygienist, I am passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. I have been a valued member of Dr. Konecny’s team since 2017 and truly love what I do. My favorite part of dentistry is helping patients overcome dental anxiety, educating them about the importance of oral health, and providing the comfort, support, and guidance they need to feel at ease during their visits. As a lifelong resident of Sarasota County, I am proud to serve and care for members of the community I have always called home. I enjoy building lasting relationships with patients and helping them feel empowered to take charge of their oral health.

When I am not in the office, you can find me enjoying time at the beach with my husband, Anthony, and our two sons, Caden and Cash. I also teach at Fly Dance Fitness and enjoy quality time with my friends.

Monica is the friendly voice you hear when you call to schedule your appointment and the first outgoing, cheerful person you will meet when you come into the office! She was born and raised in Michigan and relocated to the sunshine state in 2019. She has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She started her career as a dental assistant and worked her way up to office administration. She has developed a passion for all aspects of the dental field and patient care. She has exceptional skills with helping patients feel at ease and have a positive experience in our office. Monica will be there to answer any financial questions you have and assist you with successfully completing your dental treatment plan.

As a Front Desk Coordinator, I love being one of the first people to welcome patients into our office. My favorite part of the job is helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease from the moment they walk through the door. I enjoy building relationships with our patients and helping make every visit a positive experience.

Having grown up in this area, I love being able to connect with people in the community I’ve always called home. It is rewarding to meet new people every day and be part of a team that helps patients smile with confidence.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors!

Tammy immigrated from Vietnam and lived in California from 1995 until relocating to Sarasota, Florida, in July 2023. She has worked in the dental field since 2000 and is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with extensive experience in patient care and clinical support.
Tammy joined Dr. Konecny's team in March 2025 as a Clinical Assistant, working closely alongside Dr. Koneny to help create beautiful, healthy smiles for patients. Her dedication, experience, and compassionate approach make her a valued member of the practice.
Outside of work, Tammy enjoys doing nails and spending time in the sun, sand, and surf with her three children. She loves taking advantage of Florida's beautiful beaches and making lasting memories with her family.
